Went up to the Santa Cruz Mountains this past weekend with Matt, Audrey, Kaden and Tony to pick out a Christmas tree and take some Holiday photos. Was the boy’s first time cutting down a fresh Christmas tree and they had an absolute blast! Think I was about their age the last time I got to do so myself!

Thought I’d share a few outtakes from Marshall’s Christmas session earlier this week. His mother and I created a few different scenes for their yearly Christmas cards. I will wait to post anything further until mom sends out her cards as I don’t want to spoil the surprise! Marshall was able to get a quick nap in (and I was able to take the image below) while we waited for it to get dark enough to take the Christmas light series.
Took Christmas portraits of Dora at Carmel Beach for Nicole and Jose last Wednesday before Thanksgiving. She definitely found the trip to the beach more of a play date than a photo session!

Had the opportunity this past week to take some portraits of Moose for his owner during their weekly excursion to Carmel Beach. Moose is a Big Sur Aussie that is just bursting with personality. As you can tell from the photos, he lives to fetch a tennis ball.
